The Wye Valley runs from mid Wales down to the Severn Estuary and in parts forms the border between England and Wales.

Through history the river has been the backbone of the area. The valley has evolved and adapted to meet the needs of people of who live and work in the area. For its importance for food through the industrial era to now when the river is respected for the natural wonder that it is.

Like Unawatuna tourism is very important to the area. Thousand of vistor come each year to the area to enjoy all the area has to offer.
